Simran and Jaya TV are taking on Kamal’s 10 roles in Dasavatharam! In the latest episodes of the serial Simran Thirai, a collection of short stories in the new story Naravelli, she is appearing in 14 avataar’s.
In the Aadi season, Jaya TV from June 30- Monday to Friday at 8.30P.M they are going to telecast "Navavelli" . This story comes amidst the most auspicious of months, the Aadi season, which celebrates the power of the Shakthi.
The story is about an unsurpassable force of energy in the form of Annai Adhiparasakthi, unites the good and evil deeds of this world safeguarding the interests of human beings. Simran comes in 14 ’Avataar’s of Amman as she fights for justice and instills spiritual faith in her followers.
The Jaya TV press note says- "Simran as usual gives a splendid performance that would definitely ear mark her as the one and only all-rounder in Tamil small screen. It is also noteworthy to mention that Simran’s multi-faceted characters here would surpass the hype created by "Dasavathaaram", as she would be adorning 14 different roles in "Navavelli "

Sikkal Simran is the petname for Simran in Kollywood circles.Because Before accepting the offers, she used to fall on the foot of producer, but once the agreement is through, then the producer should fall on her foot. To that extent she will create trouble for the producer.
She was begging around for offers in Kollywood and she managed to get two offers, one as mother of Surya and other as elder sister of Barath. Now, in the shooting spot her demands are increasing day by day - from juice, ice creams, toys etc., etc., to her son and special vehicle for her jobless husband.

Simran's smart comeback!

Actress Simran is busy on her comeback mode. The once-celebrated actress is busy in small screen besides doing a couple of big-budgeted movies including ‘Varanan Aayiram’ and ‘Seval’, directed by Hari featuring Bharath in lead roles.
Buzz is that Simran is busy shooting round-the-clock. She has now expressed her desire to dub her own. Since the voice tests and the result output were agreeable, she will also dub for ‘Varanam Aayiram’.
The movie directed by Gautham Menon features Simran in the role of Suriya’s wife. Music is by Harris Jayaraj.

Simran is back to the screen

The wait by all those film buffs who loved to see kollywood actress Simran on the screen again is getting over as the experienced actress is making a great comeback to Kollywood with a couple of films by the top most directors.
She will be soon seen in ’Seval’ starring Bharat as the hero and directed by the hit director Hari.
The story of the film which is set in the rural landscape will have the highly talented actress in a very important role which has a lot of scope for performance.
The name of the actor who was to act opposite Simran was not let out by the makers of ’Seval’ till recently.
Now the suspense have been broken and it has been let out that actor Prem who did a commendable performance in the films ’Kannamma’ and the recently released ’Nepali’ in which he played the role of a tough policeman is cast opposite the actress who still have not lost an ounce of her charm.
Prem will be seen without a moustache in the new film.
The shooting of a marriage scene between Simran and Prem which was being canned in Thenkasi got delayed by a couple of hours as the Simran’s flight got delayed.
The scene features the hero Bharat, Vadivelu, Manobala and about 30 junior artists.
She did a variety of roles right from the beautiful lady love of the hero to a much more serious role in Mani Rathnam’s ‘Kannathil Muthamittal’.
This second innings can become more fruitful to her in terms of getting more serious roles with characters of different shades in which she can explore more her acting capabilities.
